The Insular Empire Featured on KPFA's "Living Room"

December 30, 2003

Today C.S. Soong, host of KPFA-Berkeley’s noontime talk show, “Living Room,” interviewed Amy Robinson and Cinta Matagolai Kaipat of Horse Opera Productions. The 40-minute public radio interview featured in-depth discussions about Horse Opera’s documentary film-in-progress, The Insular Empire: America’s Pacific Frontier, and the political, cultural, and economic issues facing the U.S. Territory of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

“Living Room” reaches a wide audience covering over a third of California (and, via the web, throughout the world). Horse Opera Productions is grateful to KPFA for this opportunity to raise awareness of the issues facing the people of the Marianas.
