Prior to his work on The Insular Empire, Michael Lannan was assistant editor, distribution coordinator, PR assistant, and nanny for Johnny Symons' documentary DADDY & PAPA. Michael studied film and history as an American Studies major at Carleton College in Minnesota. He is currently pursuing a film career in Los Angeles.
